Development of Bulgaria's opera and ballet art

It was after the liberation of Ottoman rule that the classical opera and ballet art was established in Bulgaria. Currently a scientific conference is being prepared. Its name bears the focal topic of the conference ‘’Early Orthodox heritage in Sandanski’. The guest exhibition of National History Museum will be also presented at the conference. Sandanski is considered to tbe the birthplace of Spartacus. The municipality now works on the development of cultural tourism in the region and therefore a brochure will be duly issued. It will include useful information and tourists will be able to either get familiar with local crafts, participate in rites or simply explore the region and various landmarks. The detailed catalogue should be issued within 1 month. It will also include information about two villages in the region. One of them is Pirin where one can still learn the secret of Bulgarian folklore singing. The other village is Levunovo where weaving is the main craft which one can get acquainted with. Thus, visitors will be able to explore rural tourism opportunities of Sandanski region.
